Privacy policy

How we handle your data, cookies, analytics and advertising, and your UK data protection rights.

A younger person's arms wrapped gently around an older loved one, their hands clasped together

This policy explains how Elderly Care Help handles your data, cookies, analytics and advertising, and your rights under UK data protection law. We keep it short and plain.

Who we are

Elderly Care Help is an independent guidance website. You can reach us through our contact page.

What we collect

If you send us a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message so we can reply. We don't use this to market to you, and we don't sell it to anyone.

Analytics

We use analytics to understand how the site is used, so we can improve it. This tells us things like which guides are read most, in aggregate. Analytics is only loaded once a valid measurement ID is set, and we aim to use privacy-respecting settings.

Cookies

We use the minimum cookies needed to run the site and, where enabled, to measure traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings. If we add advertising in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

Advertising

We don't currently show third-party advertising. If we introduce it (such as Google ads), we will disclose it here and comply with UK data protection and cookie rules.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us and we will respond.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. It was last reviewed in July 2026.
